By placing this Corporate policy as a universal and permanent management principle, we aim to achieve these objegtives by practicing the "JAL Philosophy".

Food Safety Policy

Based on the JAL Group Corporate Policy, we have put the following Food Safety Policy in place, in order to supply safe, reliable and satisfying inflight meals to our customers.

  1. In addition to meeting customer requirements relating to food safety, we will comply with all laws, standards and industry requirements, and establish our own standards as far as technically and economically possible, to take food safety management even further.
  2. We will gain the trust of our customers through reliable communication of food safety information within and outside the organization, and robust management of each stage of development, production and supply of inflight meals.
  3. All employees will be fully trained to comply with food safety laws, regulations and standards. We are also committed to staff development, including training relating to food safety.

We set targets every year and take action to achieve this Food Safety Policy. Our food safety management system will be regularly reviewed and improved so that it functions continuously and effectively.

Food Hygiene Guidelines

In order to consistently provide customers with safe and high-quality inflight meals, we follow these guidelines in all we do.

Basic Guidelines

  1. 1. Observe all rules, regulations and procedures to ensure a hygienic approach.
  2. 1. Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance at work at all times.
  3. 1. Thoroughly enforce the 5 S’s (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain).
  4. 1. Clean facilities and wash equipment thoroughly to keep the workplace clean.
  5. 1. Respond to irregular occurrences promptly and effectively.

Environmental Policy

In order to leave a richer environment for the next generation in accordance with the JAL Group Code of Conduct “Commitment to Society,” we have established a promotional system under this policy, and work to protect the environment as a corporate citizen and proactively prevent events from obstructing our commitment.

JRC Health Management Declaration

In order to deliver safe and delicious inflight meals, it is essential to promote the physical and mental health of our employees and their families. I will work to create healthy, positive and energetic workplaces for our employees under my leadership as Chief Wellness Officer and implement the following initiatives to pursue the "material and intellectual growth of all our employees" as set forth in the JAL Group Corporate Policy.

  1. Employees, the company, and the health insurance company will work together in unison to improve health awareness and health behavior based on the JAL Group’s health promotion policy, JAL Wellness.
  2. In addition to achieving the medical checkup rate of 100%, we will improve support for our employees, such as providing guidance based on checkup results and health checkups at medical institutions.
  3. We will actively address health issues with a focus on lifestyle-related diseases, cancer, mental health, smoking and women's health, with workplace managers and Wellness Leaders at the center of these activities.
  4. We are working to increase engagement and satisfaction rates within the workplace to support a better work-life balance for all our employees.

Human resources are the driving force behind JRC's sustainable development. I will take the lead in promoting health management to enable every employee to experience personal growth through their work and live a happy, rewarding and fulfilling life.
